- 54 congregations in a 17 county area & 26 ministries are committed to attend.
- Kingdom Builders (Indiana) has raised $14,458.69 to fund ONE IN CHRIST.
- 106.5 WWBL, 105.7 WUZR, 102.3 WBTO, 93.3 WQTY, 92.1 WZDM FM & 1450 WAOV AM are running 30 second adds through April 26.
- The cast of The Promise will perform a 30 minute pre-service concert on the main stage at the Hatchet House Sunday April 26 at 3:20 p.m.
- We will need as many volunteers as possible at the Hatchet House Saturday April 25, at 2:00 p.m. to set up the gymnasium for ONE IN CHRIST. 600 chairs need to be set up on the gym floor. 30 tables need to be available for ministries and missionaries on display. A large stage will be put in place. The sound system will be brought in. 8,000 plastic bags will need to be filled with communion sets, programs, tracts, information cards, etc.
- Volunteers (ushers & greeters) will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday (26th) at the GYM.
- All ministries on display at ONE IN CHRIST may set up Sat 25 starting @ 2 p.m. or Sunday no later than 2 p.m. We highly recommend that all ministries be set up by Saturday evening, however for those that can’t, doors will open at noon on Sunday for last minute set up.
- Parking outside of Gate 1 (WEST SIDE OF SCHOOL) will be reserved for all handicapped participants as well as church buses and vans. Gate 1 will also access all floor seats for the handicapped. Access this from NE 6th Street from HWY 57! Police will guide church vehicles to door for drop off and will park you in lots on west side of building.

• The Christian Restoration Association donated an additional $2,380.00 in the form of tracts called “Facts Concerning the New Testament Church” by PH Welshimer.
• We will need as many volunteers as possible at the Hatchet House Saturday April 25, at 2:00 p.m. to set up the gymnasium for ONE IN CHRIST. 600 chairs need to be set up on the gym floor. 25 tables need to be available for ministries and missionaries on display. A large stage will be put in place. The sound system will be brought in. 8,000 plastic bags will need to be filled with communion sets, programs, tracts etc.

• All ministries on display at ONE IN CHRIST may set up display Sat @ 2 p.m. or Sunday no later than 2 p.m. Doors will be open at 12:00 noon on Sun April 16
• ONE IN CHRIST has the full blessing of the City of Washington. Washington City Police will be on hand to aid with traffic flow and parking. Washington City Fire Dept. will be on hand as well as Southwest Medical for any health issues.

About Tom Ellsworth

Tom Ellsworth, Senior Minister at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church (Bloomington, IN.) will be giving the Communion Meditation at the One in Christ service on April 26.

Tom, a native of the Hoosier state, graduated from St. Louis Christian College and from Cincinnati Bible Seminary (now Cincinnati Christian University). In January of 1981 he and his wife Elsie moved to Bloomington to begin working with the eighty people at the Sherwood Oaks Christian Church.

Tom served as the President of the 2001 North American Christian Convention held in Tampa, Florida.

He is co-author of the book Preaching James, published by Chalice Press, 2004. Tom wrote Beyond Your Backyard, published in 2008.

Tom speaks at seminars, Christian leader’s retreats, and various other engagements. Taking a special interest in Bloomington, Tom is active in community projects and civic boards. He also serves as a trustee of St. Louis Christian College.

Tom and Elsie have two grown daughters, Emily (Mrs. Matt Crum) and Rebekah (Mrs. Errek Suhr).

In his spare time, Tom enjoys spending time with his family, woodworking and anything connected with old cars and airplanes.

Narrow Path is a band of rotating members that serves as the music worship band for the Christian Church of Jasper in Jasper, Indiana.

The band currently includes: Daniel Ross (electric and acoustic guitars, mandolin & lead vocals), Kurt Neighbors (bass), Andrew Kieffner (bass), Mike Weisensteiner (drums), Phil Hostetler (acoustic guitar), Chris Bolin (acoustic guitar), Bethany Vogts (backing vocals), Kara Messmore (backing vocals), Chealsey Patton (backing vocals) and Angie Stewart (keyboard & piano).

The band plays a variety of styles to help serve a community that appreciates a variety of styles. If forced to fit into a mold, however, one could describe the band as having an overall modern pop/rock sound.

The band formed at CCJ in mid-2002 and chose the moniker Narrow Path in July 2005. The band’s style has evolved over the years in an effort to properly serve its church home.

The band’s recording history began in August 2007 when some members began recording “The 99 Days EP,” a collection of 5 cover songs. The EP was part of CCJ’s “99 Days” campaign to raise funds to begin an orphanage in Haiti. Though this was a limited release, the recording lives on as free downloads on CCJ’s Web site.

Several members of the band began recording a second CD in March 2008. The members decided this recording would be a Christmas album. “Far As The Curse Is Found” was released on Nov. 9, 2008 in physical and digital formats.

Narrow Path recordings do not always feature every member of the band as time constraints and participation levels vary among members. “Far As The Curse Is Found” features Ross, Neighbors and Weisensteiner as principal participants on each song with Vogts, Messmore and guest guitarist Drew Hill adding their talents to the album.
